Settled in the wonderful environnement of the prestigious Transatlantic harbour station, the Cité de la mer of Cherbourg is a magnifiscent, interesting and innovative place.
Entirely dedicated to the undersea world and human adventure, this scientific space is open to the visitors since 2002.

You will be able to discover the highest cylindrical aquarium of Europe, in which 4 000 fishes live, a unique collection of emblematic inhabited vessels of deep sea diving, as well as enjoy an audio-guidedd tour of the famous "le Redoutable" submarine, and a specialized library.
